About this event
The purpose of the DEI Unit is to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in local government, institutions, and in the LWV-BMC itself. The unit seeks to explore broader DEI issues, educate its unit members, and propose educational outreach to the greater LWV-BMC membership and to the general public. It studies issues directly related to LWV-BMC and may make recommendations. The unit may also act as a consulting entity upon request of the Leadership Team, committees, and other units.
