Monroe County Clerk Nicole Brown cordially invites you to attend the Elections And Citizenship Roundtable Discussion at Election Central, located at 401 W. 7th Street, Suite 100, Bloomington. The discussion will take place on Thursday, September 18, from 1:00-4:00 pm.
Indiana law now requires county voter registration officials to request proof of citizenship from individuals who use a temporary credential ID number on their voter registration application. Their registrations will be rejected if proof is not provided within 30 days.
This meeting will provide Monroe County residents (and others) an opportunity to ask questions and express concerns about the implementation of the new law.
