Nearly 350 people in Bloomington and Monroe County, including families and children, experience homelessness on any given day. As the largest nonprofit housing provider in Monroe County, Beacon plays a pivotal role. Our challenges require a bold and innovative approach with community collaborations building on each other.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Beacon Center will be on September 23, from 3-4 pm. The celebration will take place at the new property, 1201 W. Third Street, Bloomington, and will feature celebratory remarks, refreshments, and time for gathering.
