On Wed., Aug. 19, Dr. Marjorie Hershey will discuss potential threats to the integrity of the 2026 election results and the ways in which those threats can be identified and resolved. Professor Hershey is nationally recognized for her research on US political parties, elections, and media in politics. She’s received 16 teaching awards and has written extensively on political parties and campaigns, including the ways in which media interpret election results. She has written four books (one in its 17th edition) and several dozen articles in professional journals.
