Did you know that the Lilly Library at IU Bloomington has a rare copy of the Declaration of Independence, known as the Dunlap Broadside? Printed on July 4, 1776, there are only 26 copies known to exist in the world today. To commemorate the 250th anniversary of its signing, Indiana University Libraries invites the public to see the “Declaration of Independence” exhibition, featuring the Dunlap Broadside along with many other incredible items from that time period.
